About us:
Marianne has been designing and creating cakes for her clients for
over 10 years in Sydney and now lives and operates out of the Gold
Coast. Whilst building up her Cake Designing business in Sydney, she
also worked with the renowned Planet Cake, rubbing sugar coated
shoulders with some of the most amazing cake designers in the world.
Marianne has also had several years of teaching experience at Planet
Cake as she taught multiple levels of cake decorating classes to
100’s of eager students that passed through Planet Cake’s ever
revolving doors.
Please note that the cake images displayed on my website are to show
you what is possible with cake. I like to design a unique cake for
each client and they are all made to order.

Do you deliver cakes?
A: As our cakes are delicate and need to be handled with
care, we do encourage our customers to pick their cakes up
from us to ensure their safety. If however this is not your
preference we can deliver within the Gold Coast, to Brisbane
or the Tweed Coast. Delivery charges will apply.
Can my cake have fresh flowers on it?
A: Yes it can. You can either have your florist place
the flowers or we would be happy to do it for you.
How long does a cake last?
A: Our cakes will last 5-7 days after your event if
stored in an airtight container in the fridge.
Where should I store my cake?
A: Our cakes should be stored in a dark, cool (preferably
air conditioned) room prior to cutting.
Can I store my cake in the fridge?
A: No, as doing so will make the cake perspire and the
colours will run. However, any leftovers can be stored in an
airtight container in the fridge.
How long before the event should I order my cake?
A: For wedding cakes we would prefer at least 4 weeks
notice. For most other occasion cakes 2-4 weeks will
suffice.
When do I pay for my cake?
A: We require full payment of your cake 2 weeks prior to
your event. A deposit of 50% is required to be paid on
placement of your order
Do I need to pay a deposit?
A: A 50% deposit is required upon placing your order.
What size cake do I need?
A: The size of your cake is determined by how many
quests you are having and if you want to serve them with
dessert or coffee portions. As a guide, a dessert portion is
approximately 2.5 x5 x 9cm high. A coffee portion is half
that size. |

place your order as early as you can to avoid disappointment. At
least two weeks prior to your event would be wonderful. I can
sometimes squeeze in an extra order at late notice but would hate
to miss out on creating a cake for you!
