Pricing:

The price of a cake is based on how much work is involved in making and decorating the cake, ingredients used and cake size.

To give you an idea on pricing:

Simple but stylish 8" round cake in chocolate mud (23 dessert/33 coffee portions). White fondant icing with simple decoration/design (eg. circles, stars or hearts, numbers) prices start at $170.00.

2D shaped cake prices start at $220.00.

3D and Novelty cakes may cater for less people than a wedding cake but are generally quite complex and time consuming to create! Prices start at around $300.00 and go upwards depending on the complexity of your design and portions required.

Icing Figurines start at $80.00 each.

Cupcakes start from $4.50 each depending on the complexity of the design (minimum order of 24).

Wedding cakes - as a guide, 2 tier wedding cakes are suitable for 40 to 70 guests and start at $355.00. 3 tier wedding cakes are suitable for 70 to 150 guests and start at $450.00.

Prices for bride and groom figurines start at $190.00 per couple.

Children's Cupcake Decorating Parties

Marianne's Creative Cakes also now offers Children's party entertainment in the form of Cupcake Decorating Parties for children aged from 5 years. One and a half hours of cupcake decorating fun where I will teach your children (in your home or your chosen venue) the art of cutting and modeling with fondant icing to create unique cupcakes to take home. Each child is provided with a chef's hat, apron, icing and 4 cupcakes to decorate. Prices start from $300.00 for up to 10 children and the designs I teach the children are age appropriate.

Please place your order as early as you can to avoid disappointment. At least two weeks prior to your event would be wonderful. I can sometimes squeeze in an extra order at late notice but would hate to miss out on creating a cake for you!
